OffSite PACS: Critical Technology for Critical Care

Join us for a three-day conference on PACS October  5-7 at the Stoney Creek Hotel and ConferencePACS Center in St. Joseph, MO. You will gain valuable insights on a variety of OffSite PACS solutions for your healthcare diagnostic imaging needs.
On Wednesday we will begin at 9 a.m. with a technical training session on how to set up, configure and manage the diagnostic workstation, followed by a course on end-user workflow management and customization. The afternoon product and service session covers learning how to differentiate between various products and services in order to optimize customer workflow. Join at the close of the day for a meet-and-greet welcome reception.

Thursday the conference begins with technical workshops from 9 a.m. to noon. The day kicks off with a workshop on how to install and configure a PACS workstation, including installing iQ-View software, configuring DICOM interfaces, uploading data, and exam transfer. Workstation workflow will also be a topic, which includes talking points about database vs. network, exam work list management, query/retrieve, viewing and viewing tools. Those interested in advanced workflow management tools can take advantage of a course on database management and purging, AutoRouting, transfer syntax management, modality work list, DICOM headers, and logs.

Afternoon sessions will include a presentation on IMSI integrated modular systems, Inc., which includes WebX. Participants will receive information on WebX exam work list management, views, search, tools, setting and communication.

On Friday, the morning begins with a technical presentation by Triggerfish, an IT support company that focuses on healthcare organizations. Other topics include support and management events, iQ 4 browser agnostic viewer, Telerad 360, and MED-TAB, the first DICOM calibrated 3MP diagnostic tablet. The conference will close with final thoughts and a look to the future of medical imaging technology.
